Infrared saunas work on a cellular level to penetrate human tissue and raise the body's core temperature, helping the body detoxify. Traditional saunas heat the air and the internal cabin which causes your body to sweat as a natural mechanism to cool down. For this reason, infrared saunas are very gentle and are more effective at a comfortable operating temperature. By raising the body's core temperature infrared saunas produce a sweat composed of 20% toxins compared to only 3% toxins with a traditional sauna.
-
This depends on your personal goals and what you are hoping to achieve. If you are using the infrared sauna for a specific health reason such as a cleanse or detoxification you may find a greater benefit from using the infrared sauna more frequently; 2 to 3 times a week.
Infrared saunas are safe to use every day.

Yes, we do have a public shower in a separate room to rinse off in swimmers, however it is recommended to wait at least 30 minutes after your session before showering. Your body can continue to perspire for up to 30 minutes after an infrared sauna. It is best to have a shower when you get home to allow your body to naturally cool down.
We do recommend showering when you get home to clean and remove old skin cells, toxins and sweat residue that’s risen to the surface of the skin during your session.
