Your session FAQs

  • Please ensure that you disclose all relevant medical history information including any pre-existing medical conditions to your Massage Therapist on your first visit. This will help your practitioner to determine the best course of treatment and ensure that they do not inadvertently aggravate existing problems.

  • It is important to be well hydrated prior to your massage appointment.

  • This will depend on your specific needs. Massage can have its greatest benefits over time. The therapeutic effects of massage are cumulative, so the more often you get a massage, the better you will feel and the more quickly your body will respond.

From one session to the next, relaxation deepens as the chronic patterns of stress in the body are affected and released. If you’re getting a massage to address chronic muscular tension or recovery from a soft tissue injury, more than one session is usually needed.

Speak with your therapist about your specific goals and treatment needs they will be able to advise you on the best treatment plan to suit your needs.

  • If your session is within two weeks of having a car accident, we do require a doctor’s clearance.

  • All health funds are accepted with Rhiannon, Jade and Stephen. You can claim through your health fund in store or online depending on therapist. For sessions with Sheridan, the following funds are not accepted: HCF, Medibank Private.
